Owner & Chef
Chef Cynthia's culinary journey began at 12, working with her mother in their Lima - Peru family restaurant. This early start sparked a lifelong passion for cooking. In 2009, Cynthia founded "Mapy Gourmet" in Lima, initially focusing on artisan chocolates and catering. Her venture quickly expanded, gaining popularity among hotels, restaurants, and gourmet shops, where the renowned "Chocotejas" were introduced.
In 2017, Cynthia moved to Bradenton, Florida, with her daughter, where a new chapter began. Despite initial challenges, including the pandemic, Cynthia's dedication remained unwavering. By October 2022, she fully embraced her culinary passion in the U.S., specializing in catering that highlights her Peruvian heritage while exploring diverse global flavors.
